Formed in 1999 in Raleigh, North Carolina, BLATANT DISARRAY is a thrash-metal band armed with an arsenal of razor sharp songs that rip through you and a live show that takes you back to the days of head banging and circle pits. The music is heavily based off of the classic Bay Area thrash sound combined with a neo-classical and European metal foundation. Rapid double-time drumming, wicked fast riffs and shredding guitar solos makes BLATANT DISARRAY an absolute feast for thrash-metal fans.

 

Our latest album "High Time For A War Crime", came together during the early part of 2020 while we were quarantined in our homes. Dubbed our “quarentunes”, the majority of the songwriting took place in our individual home studios and offices. We would pass song ideas back and forth digitally and even had Skype songwriting sessions. Over the summer we got together to finalize the tunes and began recording immediately.  

Included on this album is a special tribute to our late drummer, Tim Worrell. At some point in 2007, Tim recorded drum tracks for the song “The Shortest Straw” but at a slightly higher tempo… 
This track was lost and forgotten over the years only to be discovered early in 2020. We decided to finish this recording and put it on this album in remembrance of our brother, Tim.

Along with releasing 2 EP's and 4 full-length albums, the band has shared tour dates with many great metal acts including LAMB OF GOD, W.A.S.P., LACUNA COIL, SHADOWS FALL, ANTHRAX, JOEY BELLADONNA, METAL CHURCH, VITAL REMAINS, SUFFOCATION, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, DAYLIGHT DIES, BODY COUNT, CONFESSOR, RAVEN, and has also recorded with Grammy nominated producer John Custer.
